When my grandfather left for a trip, I went to stay with my grandmother for a while, and started taking daily afternoon walks with her. The neighborhood, Sattarkhan, was new to me, different from where I lived, and I began exploring it through the camera, trying to understand the area and find my own place within it. To make that intention visible in the work, I placed a map of the neighborhood on each photograph and marked the exact spot where it was taken.

According to my grandfather’s departure for a trip, I went to their house in order to live with my grandmother for a while. I went on daily walks with her every afternoon. The district (called Sattarkhan) was new and different from where I lived. I started exploring it with my camera. I was trying to get to know this neighborhood more and find myself in it. To make this intention more clear in my pictures, I put the map of this area on each photo and pinned my exact location of where I took that photo on it.
